"Texas-born Steely Nash put her powerful voice to use on electro-tinged soul jams where 60's girl group harmonies abound"
- San Jose Metro
"The vinyl loving songstress has concocted an aural blend of tres chic and homegrown, a bouquet of Chanel with notes of Etta James. It is easy to picture her singing in a room lined with vintage vinyl, or in the rotunda of City Hall, decked out in a stylist ball gown, offering her own unique take on pop and soul"

As a gal growing up in Texas, the super sassy Steely Nash sang non-stop on a hillside to an audience of steers and heifers at her Grandpa's ranch in Paris.
Ms. Nash was later accepted to the prestigious Roosevelt University (The Chicago College of Performing Arts) and tried her most enthusiastic jazz hand at Musical Theatre but quickly found that there were very few roles for a diva who looked like Cinderella and sang like the Wicked Witch.
A heartbroken and lost young lady, Steely was scooped out of the snow by her best friends and together they ran to sunny California where Mrs. Nash got in the kitchen to cook up some of her own greasy soul tunes.
